Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Centre Engineer to join our team in Manchester. This role will focus on providing maintenance and engineering support to our Data Centre operations. The successful candidate will have an HVAC (Mechanical) engineering bias and ideally experience within the Data Centre industry. The role involves supporting various building systems and ensuring that all Data Centre operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within the Data Centre.

• Provide technical support across various building systems.

• Assist with the commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems, particularly around the go-live of the Data Centre in May.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational procedures.

• Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in HVAC systems (Mechanical engineering background preferred).

• Previous experience working within a Data Centre environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with commissioning and testing procedures.

• Strong understanding of building systems and their maintenance requirements.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
