    As a Manager, Engineering Operations (MEO), you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the site’s critical infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and driving efficiency in a high-performance data centre environment.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Strategic Leadership: Act as the right-hand to the Data Centre Manager, providing expert operational support and ensuring the site runs at peak efficiency.
    Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of Lead Engineers and Site Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
    Technical & Operational Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and manage all mechanical, electrical, and energy management programs, ensuring risk is minimized and safety is prioritized.
    Incident Management: Serve as the escalation point for critical incidents, taking the lead on resolving issues that could impact service quality or SLAs.
    Vendor & Compliance Management: Oversee maintenance efforts, track vendor performance through KPIs, and ensure all operations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
    Process & Performance Optimization: Continuously seek out innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance overall performance.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    Extensive experience in mission-critical mechanical & electrical environments (preferably in data centres, IT, or telecoms).
    A degree in engineering or a technical field.
    In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure (UPS, generators, cooling systems, etc.).
    Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
    Strong experience with maintenance systems and processes.
    ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience is a plus.
    A proactive, adaptable mindset – you thrive in a fast-changing environment and take ownership of challenges.
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
