Amy Young, Sales Director, Custodian Data Centres: Data Centres & Diversity

On this episode I am joined by Amy Young, Sales Director at Custodian Data Centres. Amy gives a great insight to how she has developed a successful career in the data centre sector and also Custodian Data Centres as an organisation.

Amy started her career in recruitment before developing a successful career in sales. We discuss how the skills learnt in recruitment were transferable to sales and how Amy found her way in to the world of data centres.

We then discuss Custodian Data Centres who are going through a period of significant growth. Amy outlines the company strategy with a focus on how important customer relationships are to long term sustainable growth. We also discuss the new DA2 10MW data centre that is currently under construction, and why they made the decision to create a video blog of the project.

Finally we talk about diversity and the importance of creating role models to attract a more diverse workforce to the data centre sector.
