I am looking for a German & English speaking Senior Project Director to join my client in Frankfurt. The Senior Project Director will play a pivotal role in the timely delivery of a new 50MW DC project. This is a brand new role for a newly formulated team within the company and the Senior Project Director will work alongside the Business Unit Leader in growing and shaping the future of the business unit.

Senior Project Director Role:

• Responsibility for the planning, implementation and successful execution of challenging electrical engineering/building automation projects.
• Management of an experienced project team and control of all project-related activities
• Preparation and monitoring of project plans, budgets and resource planning
• Monitoring of quality standards, legal regulations and norms
• Management of customer, supplier and other stakeholder relationships during the entire course of the project
• Risk management and implementation of appropriate measures to ensure the smooth running of the project
• Reporting to the division management and presenting of project status and results

Senior Project Director Profile:

• Electrical Engineering qualification
• Experience in managing complex projects in the field of electrical engineering and building automation
• Sound knowledge of the relevant regulations, standards and guidelines (e.g. VDE, DIN-EN, KNX)
• Proven success in project management of large-scale data centre projects, plant construction will also be considered.
• Competent in leading and coordinating international teams, as well as in motivating and developing employees
• Extensive knowledge of project management methods and tools
• Expertise in building automation, including control and regulation technology
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
