Job Title: Shift Engineer (M&E)
Location: East London
Sector: Data Centres
Salary: Up to £50,000
We’re looking for a Shift Engineer to join a dynamic team in East London, working within a data centre environment for an established Service Provider.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs
- Handle HV and LV switching (if HVAP qualified)
- Monitor critical infrastructure and respond to alarms
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Liaise with contractors and the wider facilities team to maintain operations
What We’re Looking For:
- M&E experience in a critical environment (data centres, pharma, banking, etc.)
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems with relevant qualification
- Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work under pressure
- HVAP (advantageous)
