Data Center Maintenance Engineer (Shift)

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Facility Engineer to oversee the operations, maintenance, and installation of advanced electrical and mechanical systems for a leading global data centre operator.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for 24×7 data center operations, ensuring 100% uptime.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing for critical systems, including electrical distribution, UPS, standby generation, fire suppression, and large-scale cooling systems.
- Assist with construction activities and installations, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
- Oversee customer installations, deployments, and power circuit setups.
- Implement and audit standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with safety standards and codes.
- Manage change control processes for maintenance activities and document results.
- Participate in reviews for planned and emergency maintenance events, ensuring reliability.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in engineering within critical environments like data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications in HVAC or critical power systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel (10-25%).
