    Data Center Facility Engineer (Shift)

    Locations : Eeemshaven & Groningen (Can be based at either site)

    We are looking for a Data Center Facility Engineer to support operations, maintenance, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems in a critical Data Centre environment. This role involves coordinating system integrations, ensuring operational standards, and maintaining uptime for critical systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for 24×7 data center operations, ensuring 100% uptime.
    • Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing for critical systems, including electrical distribution, UPS, standby generation, fire suppression, and large-scale cooling systems.
    • Assist with construction activities and installations, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
    • Oversee customer installations, deployments, and power circuit setups.
    • Implement and audit standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with safety standards and codes.
    • Manage change control processes for maintenance activities and document results.
    • Participate in reviews for planned and emergency maintenance events, ensuring reliability.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in engineering within critical environments like data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
    • Mechanical or Electrical qualification
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • Certifications in HVAC or critical power systems preferred.
    • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
    • Willingness to travel (10-25%).
