Job Title: Data Centre Shift Engineer
Location: Slough
Salary: £53,000 + 5% Annual Bonus
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift (Days & Nights)

We are seeking a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join the team in Slough. You’ll be working on a continental shift pattern, rotating between days and nights, ensuring the uptime and resilience of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all electrical and building services systems

• Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs on critical infrastructure

• Respond to alarms and incidents in real-time, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption

• Support HV/LV operations and maintenance where required

• Liaise with third-party contractors and ensure all work complies with site procedures and safety standards

Requirements:

• Electrical engineering background (apprenticeship or equivalent qualification)

• Experience in Data Centres or Critical Facilities environments

• Strong understanding of building services (UPS, generators, cooling, etc.)

• HVAP or LVAP certification is desirable but not essential

• Ability to work continental shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days and nights)
