We are working with a leading general contractor seeking a Commercial Lead to manage all commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale data centre projects across Europe. This is a key leadership role on projects typically valued at €100m+, within one of the fastest-growing construction sectors.
The role
As Commercial Lead, you will oversee project finances, contracts, procurement, and risk, ensuring robust financial control and profitable delivery. Working alongside the Project Director, you will drive value throughout the project lifecycle and act as the commercial specialist for complex, fast-track data centre projects.
Could this role be for you?
- Proven track record as a Commercial Lead/Manager on major data centres or large-scale projects
- 8+ years’ experience in commercial management with a general contractor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent discipline
- Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contract forms
- Experience managing budgets of €100m+ and multiple project packages
- Excellent negotiation, financial management, and leadership skills
