The Role
We’re seeking a Commissioning Field Technician II to support large-scale commissioning projects across the U.S. In this role, you’ll build on foundational commissioning experience by taking on troubleshooting, testing, and reporting responsibilities. You’ll work hands-on with electrical, mechanical, and control systems-validating performance, solving problems, and ensuring quality outcomes.
As you grow in the role, you’ll gain greater autonomy, sharpen problem-solving skills, and directly contribute to mission-critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site inspection, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems

Support factory witness testing and observe startup activities

Assist in developing commissioning plans, test scripts, and checklists

Review design documents, shop drawings, and sequences of operations

Prepare reports and communicate progress with project stakeholders

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project requirements
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, or controls infrastructure OR a degree in engineering/construction-related field

Working knowledge of commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting

Proficiency in MS Office; strong organizational and reporting skills

Ability to work independently in remote environments and on fast-paced projects

Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. (up to 75%)

NFPA70E / OSHA certifications (or willingness to obtain)
