Job Title:

Project Lead – Data Centres (MEP / Power / Commissioning)

Rate:
€800 per day (All in rate)

Duration:
Immediate start – contract until the end of the year

Rotation:
5 days per week on site.

Overview

My client is a specialist power and energy engineering contractor delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe, including large-scale data centres.

Due to continued growth and secured projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Lead, taking full responsibility for MEP delivery, commissioning, programme, and contractual position on live data centre projects.

This is a hands-on delivery role, not a coordination or design-only position.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of MEP and power systems on data centre projects
• Own commissioning strategy and execution (FAT, SAT, IST, power-on)
• Drive programme, sequencing, and cross-package interfaces
• Administer contracts under FIDIC (Yellow Book or equivalent)
• Manage variations, EOTs, notices, and commercial risk
• Act as senior on-site authority and main client interface

Role Requirements

• Experience delivering MEP-led projects
• Background in data centres, power generation, or critical infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, generators, UPS, BESS
• Proven leadership of complex commissioning phases
• Hands-on experience administering FIDIC contracts
