Your Role:
As our Health & Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects adhere to the highest safety standards. You will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with Company Safety Management System and relevant statutory provisions.
- Plan Development: Create and manage construction stage plans, method statements, risk assessments, and safety permits.
- Reporting & Analysis: Conduct H&S reporting, analyze metrics, and keep senior management updated on safety progress.
- Site Inspections: Perform regular site audits, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions to uphold top safety standards.
- Training & Compliance: Coordinate safety inductions, manage PPE resources, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in managing environmental, health, and safety on large-scale construction sites.
- Qualifications: Relevant third-level degree in Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of current EHS legislation and the ability to manage all related issues effectively.
- Skills: Strong communication, computer skills, and the ability to maintain comprehensive reporting databases.
