A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking a BMS Engineer to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the South West area with a huge pipeline of work globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.
The role
- As the BMS Engineer you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the South West.
- Working alongside the BMS Lead overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Power Management Systems (EPMS), and all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across various data centre facilities.
- Ensure that all systems comply with the end clients established performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of the BAS, EPMS, and other HVAC systems, confirming adherence to the specified designs.
Could this role be for you?
- Proven experience at BMS Engineer level with experience within Security, and ICT projects for a main contractor, ideally in mission-critical environments such as data centres.
- In-depth knowledge of design, installation, and commissioning processes for mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems.
- A strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction standards.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
