A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking a BMS Lead to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the South West area with a huge pipeline of work globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.
The role
- As the BMS Lead you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the South West.
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Power Management Systems (EPMS), and all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across various data centre facilities.
- Ensure that all systems comply with the end clients established performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of the BAS, EPMS, and other HVAC systems, confirming adherence to the specified designs.
Could this role be for you?
- Proven experience leading BMS, Security, and ICT projects for a principal main contractor, ideally in mission-critical environments such as data centres.
- In-depth knowledge of design, installation, and commissioning processes for mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems.
- A strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction standards.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
