CSA Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Construction
Location: Middenmeer, Netherlands

Reports to: Commercial Lead / Project Director
Role Purpose
The CSA Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost and commercial aspects of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages on a hyperscale data centre project. This includes cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting. The role requires strong technical knowledge of CSA works and the ability to operate within a fast-paced, high-value construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost control and commercial delivery of CSA packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Administer contracts and manage change control processes for CSA scope.
- Liaise with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on scope and cost.
- Conduct valuations, progress assessments, and manage interim and final payments.
- Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Monitor risks, variations, and claims, ensuring timely resolution.
- Produce regular commercial reports and financial updates for senior stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on CSA packages.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects, preferably in mission-critical or data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract forms.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
