Job Title: EHS Lead – Data Centre Projects

Location: Munich, Germany (covering 2 sites within close proximity to the city centre)
Rotation: 10/4
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:00

Saturday: 07:00 – 13:00

Start Date: September / October 2025

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across two high-profile data centre projects in Munich. The successful candidate will manage EHS performance across both sites, supported by a Senior EHS Advisor on each project. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in data centre and M&E construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate all EHS activities across two active data centre sites.

Provide guidance, mentoring, and direction to Senior EHS Advisors on each site.

Ensure full compliance with client, contractor, and statutory EHS requirements.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Monitor and report on EHS performance, producing regular updates for project management.

Promote a positive safety culture across both projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an EHS Lead or similar senior role on major construction projects.

Data centre construction experience essential.

Strong M&E (mechanical & electrical) safety knowledge.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work across multiple sites and manage teams effectively.

Relevant EHS qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO, or equivalent).

Fluent in English; German language skills desirable but not essential.
