Electrical Supervisor – Client Side – Slough

DataX Connect are seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee the M&E aspects of a large-scale data centre construction project. This will be reporting directly into the end client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all M&E installations meet the project specifications, are completed on time, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of M&E Works:
  • Oversee all mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and applicable standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and ensure quality control of M&E installations.
• Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of M&E works.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to M&E installations.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of M&E works to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and rectify any issues or discrepancies in M&E installations promptly.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all M&E works are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and site-specific safety plans.
  • Promote a culture of safety on-site and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of M&E installations, including progress reports, inspections, and quality control documentation.
  • Prepare and submit reports on M&E progress to senior management.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Proactively address any challenges or delays related to M&E works and implement effective solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between different trades to minimize conflicts and ensure smooth operations.
