A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking an Electrical Testing Supervisor to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the Dublin area with a huge pipeline of work in UK, Ireland & Europe. The role
- As the Electrical Testing Supervisor, you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the Dublin area.
- You’ll be at the heart of implementing and managing Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) and Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE) on projects where they are the AP (appointed person).
- You will carry out Pre-Test Inspections (walk-down the field installation of each system term to term) on site and compile defect reports on compliance with national electrical regulations.
- Carry out periodic inspections and surveys of installations.
Could this role be for you?
- Electrical Trade Background and/or a Third Level qualification in either Electrical or Building Services Engineering preferred.
- Ideally 4+ years relevant experience in a similar position working for a well-known company in the data centre/high tech construction market.
- Safe Electric / NICEIC or similar ‘City & Guilds’ Inspection & Testing trained and qualified
- ‘Authorised Person’ competent and trained.
- LOTO and COHE trained.
