Location: Watford

We are currently looking to hire an Engineering Supervisor for a key client located in Watford. This is a full-time position, offering a Monday to Friday schedule with 25 days of holiday.

About the Role:

As an Engineering Supervisor, you’ll take charge of engineering operations, leading a dedicated team of Shift Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment functionality, and responding to emergencies to minimise business interruptions. This is an excellent chance to step into a leadership role where you’ll impact both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train a team of engineers and subcontractors.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond to emergency situations with a problem-solving mindset.
• Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions for complex challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred, though not required – ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career.
• Strong organisational skills and a knack for thinking outside the box.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting, standing, and climbing.
