A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking a H&S Advisor to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the South West area with a huge pipeline of work globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.

The role

• As the H&S Advisor you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the South West.

• Report directly to the Senior H&S Advisor and will take ownership of critical operational responsibilities, including reporting, documentation, and ICT-related tasks.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
• Assist in the development and delivery of H&S training programs for the site team.

Could this role be for you?

• Proven experience in a similar H&S advisory role, ideally within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in mission-critical environments such as data centres.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in the UK construction industry.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on reporting and documentation.
• Proficiency in ICT systems and tools relevant to H&S management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Relevant H&S qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are essential.
