Position: HVAP Data Centre Shift Technician
Location: Docklands, London
Shift Pattern: Continental
Salary: £48k – increasing to £50k once on site HVAP secured
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Systems Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Reactive Maintenance: Address day-to-day electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption.
- System Management: Utilise computer-based systems for PPM reporting; manage fault identification, rectification, and escalation.
- Communication & Reporting: Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, providing updates on plant status, ongoing maintenance work, and any arising issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in the Building Services industry, particularly in critical environments, is essential.
- Qualifications:
- City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical services/maintenance
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- HV Approved Person
- Skills: Strong technical proficiency, especially with UPS systems, generators, and HVAC equipment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Personal Attributes: Proactive, reliable, and committed to achieving high operational standards. Willingness to undertake additional training if needed.
