The company
An award winning engineering firm is seeking a proven project leader to act as an Owner’s Representative on mission-critical construction projects. In this role, you’ll serve as the owner’s trusted liaison-overseeing contractors, engineers, and design teams to deliver complex, high-value projects from concept to closeout.
The position
- Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, change orders, and risk mitigation for multimillion-dollar projects
- Lead contractor selection, negotiations, and bid reviews
- Provide clear, proactive communication to clients and stakeholders
- Mentor project teams and drive continuous improvement
Could this role be for you?
- 8+ years in mission critical, power facilities, data centers, or similar technical construction environments
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices, safety, and compliance
- Skilled with Procore, MS Office, and construction management tools
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects ($1M+) on time and within budget
- Willingness to travel 50% nationwide; on-site presence required during projects
