DataX Connect are partnered with a global real estate company who are dedicated to making an impactful difference to the data center/ mission critical sector.

This opportunity will be based out of Georgia or Virginia

Due to outstanding growth and further investments to the business, they are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to take lead on multiple large data center builds.

The position

As a Data Center Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects from start to finish.

Your role will involve managing all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and stakeholder communication. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery within specified timelines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to design, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety protocols.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.

Qualifications and previous experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center construction or similar complex construction projects.
• Construction company background with a portfolio of data center/mission critical facility types, a plus.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and systems.
