In this week’s episode I am joined by Carrie Goetz to discuss her recently released book, ‘Jumpstart your career in Data Centers’. A book written to help attract more people to world of data centers.

Firstly we discuss how Carrie started her career in data centers and how her career has developed to where she is today.

We then discuss the book. Carrie explains why she decided to write the book, who the book is for, and what she hopes the book will achieve.  Carrie explains how the book is intentionally written to be an easy read and to explain the sector in a way that everyone can understand.

We also cover diversity and the challenges around attracting more talent to the data centre sector. Carrie shares her views on why this is so important and also what we can all do to help make the sector a more welcoming place for all.
