Location: Hoddesdon
Salary: £50,000 + Circa £6,000 per year for on-call (every other week)
Full-time | Mon – Fri | Critical Environment

We’re hiring Electrical Day Engineers to support our high-performing Data Centre’s in Hoddesdon. In this critical role, you’ll be the first line of response for M&E faults, ensuring resilience, compliance, and operational excellence in a 24/7 environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as first response engineer for electrical/plant issues

• Maintain 100% uptime via proactive maintenance & change control

• Oversee M&E systems including BMS, PMS, CMS & life safety

• Manage contractors and ensure adherence to SOPs, H&S and compliance standards

• Lead fault response, emergency protocols, and technical enhancements

• Collaborate with senior engineers and management on continuous improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant electrical/technical qualifications

• Strong experience in critical environments (Data Centre/co-location preferred)

• Sound knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems, with the ability to lead and respond under pressure

• Great communicator, team player, and problem solver with a proactive mindset
