We are partnered with a growing General Contractor that is making a significant investment in the Mission Critical and Data Center sector.

As the business expands its hyperscale capabilities, they are looking for an experienced General Superintendent to take a leading role in the delivery of major data center projects across the United States.

This is an opportunity to join a growing division at an important stage of its development, with the chance to influence project delivery, field operations and the wider growth of the team.

The Opportunity

As General Superintendent, you will take ownership of field operations across large scale hyperscale and colocation data center projects.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading day-to-day site operations
* Managing field teams and subcontractors
* Driving project safety, quality and schedule performance
* Coordinating complex mechanical and electrical installations
* Managing logistics, sequencing and material deliveries
* Working closely with Project Management and project stakeholders
* Leading planning meetings and coordinating construction activities
* Maintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants and trade partners
* Mentoring and developing junior field staff

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* 10+ years of Superintendent experience
* 5+ years of hyperscale or colocation data center experience
* Experience delivering projects valued at $25M-$100M+
* Strong understanding of MEP systems
* Proven leadership and scheduling experience
* Experience working within fast-paced, mission critical environments
* Willingness to travel nationally for extended project assignments
* Experience across hyperscale, enterprise data centers, colocation or other mission critical environments would be highly relevant.
