Senior Construction Manager – Data Centers

DataX Connect are partnered with a leading data center developer offering innovative and adaptive data center solutions for global hyperscale customers, focusing on flexible and scalable data center designs and build-to-scale projects.

This opportunity will be based out of Plano, Texas or Chicago, Illinois with travel of up to 30%. Travel may be required to support additional projects and pursuits.

Due to growth and further investments to the business, they are looking to hire an experienced Construction Manager to drive projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, cost control, and top-tier quality.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead ground-up construction, remodels, and fit-outs for mission-critical facilities.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and schedules to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, and vendors to optimize execution.
• Work with leading trade partners, general contractors, and authorities to ensure seamless delivery.

What You’ll Need:

• 9+ years of commercial construction management experience (Data Centers preferred).
• Strong expertise in LEAN construction, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage 25+ external vendors per project.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
