Your Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer with us, you’ll play a crucial role in driving the mechanical delivery aspects of our projects. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Liaison: Manage communications with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Coordination: Work closely with contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Documentation: Prepare method statements and risk assessments to ensure safety and project success.
- Project Management: Oversee the installation of pipework and other mechanical systems, ensuring they meet project schedules and technical requirements.
- Commercial Oversight: Validate project estimates, manage procurement, and handle technical procurement of equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Cost Management: Document and cost changes, and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a proven track record on large-scale projects.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a deep understanding of mechanical systems in a data centre environment.
- Qualifications: Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
