    The Company

    DataX Connect are currently working with a leading Data Centre contractor, who have projects all across Europe. They have over 20 years’ experience delivering critical projects to an excellent standard. They have a strong emphasis on off-site fabrication, using their strengths which lie within BIM and Digital Construction.

    The Position

    This client are seeking to bring in an MEP planner to their Data Centre team. The ideal candidate would come from a GC Background and have an excellent understanding on how contractors operate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their Data Centre career with an leading organisation within the industry.

    This position is predominantly based in London, but you’d be working on Data Centre project in Norway, so occasional travel to Norway would be required (1-2 Weeks per month). You’d be part of a team of planners and reporting directly into a Lead Planner, who can offer excellent guidance on the project.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for identifying major quantities and factors which affect the programme.
    • Develop bid programmes to support and compliment bid submissions
    • Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects
    • Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management
    • Account management of existing clients, building long term partnerships
    • Complete responsibility for your project and may assists others in projects as the need arises
    • Liaise with stakeholders to review progress of projects, supporting risk identification and proactive problem solving
    • Create and sustain schedules for the pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases, whilst keeping progress reporting up to date
    • Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals
    • Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action

    Could this role be for you?

    • Holds previous experience working on Critical projects.
    • Must be from an MEP background.
    • Previous Tier 1 or 2 contractor experience.
    • Must be willing to travel.
