Job Title: Owner’s Design Representative (Project Manager)

The company
Our client is an innovative engineering / owners rep firm who has been established over 40 years but exclusively working in the data center market for the past five years. They have tripled in size in the past three years, driven by huge demand in the hyperscale data center market. They are seeking an experienced Owner’s Design Representative to lead complex projects in Goodyear, AZ. You’ll manage the full design process, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure top-tier delivery for high-tech facilities.
The position
- Lead design efforts from schematic design to IFC completion
- Coordinate with owners, design partners, contractors, and vendors
- Review and track deliverables, resolve design issues, and manage changes
- Support construction administration and site visits
- Provide weekly updates on progress, risks, and priorities
- Ensure client satisfaction and maintain strong relationships
Could this role be for you?
- Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in project or design management (preferably mission critical or commercial)
- Strong knowledge of MEP/FP/FA systems
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Office, and construction best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel locally and up to 25% nationally
