Project Director

A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking a Project Director to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the South West/Wales area with a huge pipeline of work globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.

The role

• As the Project Director, you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the South West/Wales area.
• Oversee the CSA and MEP work streams, ensuring coordination between all trades and contractors.

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and other stakeholders.
• Build, lead, and mentor a project team consisting of engineers, subcontractors, and project managers.
• Oversee cost control and financial management for the project, including forecasting, risk management, and reporting.

Could this role be for you?

• Proven experience as a Project Director on large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sectors.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with both CSA and MEP workstreams.
• A strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction standards.
• Demonstrable experience managing projects with budgets exceeding £100 million.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in cost management, including forecasting and budget control.
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
