Technical Facilities Supervisor (Engineering Manager)
Location: West London
Reports to: Facilities Manager
We are working with one of the fastest growing client side Data Centre companies in the EMEA region. With multiple sites already up in the West London area and more to come during 2022 and beyond there is a clear pathway for long term development given the number of sites coming online in the near future.
You would be working directly for the client and looking after a state of the art Data Centre facility in West London. For this role you will be working on a Monday-Friday 8-5 type day with some flexibility to the hours to suit.
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge and understanding of Critical Mechanical & Electrical Equipment. As the leader of the engineering team, you will be responsible for your teams inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within the Data Centre, with a primary focus on relevant Electrical & Mechanical asset maintenance (Planned, Reactive and Corrective). You will be expected to lead from the front and be hands on as required to support the team. This role has come about as the previous incumbent is stepping up to the Facilities Manager role. This is a well worn pathway within the business and you would have the option to develop in this direction should you choose.

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Experience in managing engineering teams within a Data centre environment
- Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated Electrical & Mechanical Equipment (generators, UPS, AHU’s, Cooling systems etc.)
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified to a good level
