    Your Role
    As a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage the commercial aspects of major mechanical contracts – ensuring value, compliance, and cost control from tender through delivery. You’ll be the go-to for budgeting, reporting, subcontractor accounts, progress valuations, and change management across high-value engineering works.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Budget development, BOQs, cost reporting, and profit planning
    • Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, and final accounts
    • Issue and negotiate interim and final applications
    • Maintain tight control of variations, remeasures, and site changes
    • Collaborate closely with planners to ensure accuracy of reporting
    • Ensure contract compliance and mitigate commercial risks
    • Represent the project team in commercial meetings and negotiations

    What You’ll Need:

    • 4+ years experience in mechanical quantity surveying
    • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or equivalent)
    • Background in mechanical systems – plumbing, pipefitting or M&E engineering
    • Experience delivering mechanical packages over €5M+
    • Strong commercial and contractual understanding
    • Proficiency in Excel and cost-tracking software
    • Organised, proactive, and confident in stakeholder engagement
