Commercial Lead – Data Centre Fit-Out | Frankfurt
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Package: Up to €120,000 + €28,000 Living Allowance + Flights + Accommodation

Take the lead on one of Europe’s most high-profile data centre fit-out projects.
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to join a high-performing project team on a major €600 million data centre fit-out in Frankfurt. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership role, driving commercial success on a technically complex and high-value build.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing all commercial and quantity surveying functions on-site, with up to 5 direct reports (QSs/SQSs) under your guidance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the commercial team on-site, supporting both construction and procurement teams.
• Managing all commercial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and subcontractor accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with contract obligations and advising the construction team on key commercial risks.
• Reviewing monthly progress applications, remeasures, site variations, claims, and commercial reporting.
• Driving best practice in quantity surveying, cost control, and commercial risk management.
• Engaging directly with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to maintain alignment and accountability.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years’ experience with a general contractor delivering large-scale fit-out projects.
• Proven capability across both MEP and CSA (civil, structural, architectural) scopes.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing small teams of quantity surveyors.
• Excellent commercial acumen, communication, and contract management skills.
• A relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Fluent English and excellent organisational abilities.

Preferred (but not essential):

• Prior data centre project experience is a strong advantage.
