The Opportunity

We are looking for Electrical Commissioning Engineers to support the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the US. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring critical electrical systems are installed, tested and operating in line with design intent.
You will be involved throughout the commissioning lifecycle, working alongside project teams on complex, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Support commissioning activities across hyperscale data centre projects
* Review electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS and backup power systems
* Execute commissioning scripts including installation verification and functional testing
* Witness energisation, start-up and system performance testing
* Identify, track and help resolve commissioning issues
* Work closely with contractors, vendors and client teams on site
* Assist with Level 2, Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning processes (IV, FPT, IST)
* Ensure systems are delivered safely and in line with project requirements

Technical Experience

* Strong understanding of electrical systems within data centres
* Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDUs and critical power infrastructure
* Knowledge of electrical sequences of operation and system interdependencies
* Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) and EPMS
* Experience supporting commissioning and energisation activities on site

The Profile

* Background in commissioning, MEP construction or electrical engineering
* Experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects preferred
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based environment
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving

Certifications / Requirements

* OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
* NFPA 70E required
* Relevant electrical or commissioning qualifications beneficial
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Willingness to travel to project sites
