Field Operations Manager – Hyperscale Data Center Construction (Traveling)

An established general contractor delivering hyperscale data centers across the United States is expanding its mission critical construction leadership team and is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee field execution across multiple large-scale projects.

With over $10 billion of active and upcoming data center construction, this is an opportunity to join one of the industry’s leading builders, supporting some of the world’s largest technology companies while providing leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight across multiple project teams.

This position is site-based with travel across active projects, with regular flights home provided throughout your rotation.

The Opportunity

As the Field Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to Project Superintendents across multiple hyperscale data center projects, ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and best-in-class field execution.

Working alongside Construction Managers and Project Managers, you’ll help drive safety, quality, schedule performance, and team development while supporting the successful delivery of complex mission critical projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Project Superintendents across multiple projects

• Drive consistency in field operations, safety, and construction execution

• Support project planning from preconstruction through project completion

• Partner with Project Managers and Construction Managers to resolve field challenges

• Develop field leadership teams through coaching and mentoring

• Ensure projects maintain schedule, quality, and productivity targets

• Promote continuous improvement across construction operations

• Build strong relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

• Provide strategic input into staffing, resource planning, and field operations

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive commercial construction experience with a strong background leading field operations

• Previous experience as a Senior Project Superintendent on large-scale projects

• Data center or mission critical construction experience strongly preferred

• Proven ability to lead multiple field teams across geographically dispersed projects

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Strong understanding of project scheduling, constructability, safety, and quality management

• Passion for developing people and building high-performing construction teams
