What You’ll Do

• Own Estimates & Proposals: Lead the full lifecycle-from RFP review to calibrated cost models-for automation and power-monitoring scopes up to $50M.
• Drive Value: Spot cost-saving ideas, negotiate with vendors, and recommend smart VE alternatives.
• Collaborate & Present: Partner with engineering, PM, and BD teams; present clear, confident proposals to clients.
• Streamline Processes: Leverage AI tools and historical data to sharpen accuracy and speed.
• Hand-Off Like a Pro: Package estimates for seamless transition to project teams and remain available as the go-to resource.

What You Bring

• 7+ years estimating building automation or industrial controls projects (DDC, PLC, SCADA).
• Deep cost knowledge of labor, materials, subcontractors, and automation platforms.
• A track record of leading and winning competitive bids in the $10M-$50M range.
• Proficiency with modern estimating software, advanced Excel use, and a forward-looking approach to emerging AI tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for both executives and engineers.
• U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel up to 20% (mostly planned, rarely urgent).
