Site Operations Director – Data Center
DataX Connect are partnered with a leading data center developer building the future of AI-powered digital infrastructure.
My client is looking for a Site Operations Director to lead operations at their cutting-edge data center campus in Ellendale, North Dakota.
The Site Operations Director will lead the overall operations of one or more of our data center campuses, directly overseeing a team of CFEs and/or manager-level positions.
This role will collaborate closely with Reliability Engineering, Design Engineering, Construction, and other key departments to ensure the smooth operation of the campus.
What You’ll Do:
- Leading 24/7 Critical Facility Engineering (CFE) teams
- Ensuring uptime, capacity, and performance across mechanical and electrical systems
- Collaborating across engineering, construction, and reliability teams
- Managing vendors, maintenance, compliance, and customer service
- Building and mentoring a world-class operations team
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years in facility/plant engineering or critical infrastructure.
- Proven leadership in managing technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and data center operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience.
