About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale mission critical construction projects across the United States.

Working within a growing national Mission Critical business, you’ll oversee projects from preconstruction through commissioning and final handover while managing client relationships, commercial performance and project teams.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager is ultimately responsible for project delivery, financial performance and client satisfaction.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams while overseeing planning, procurement, commercial management, risk mitigation and project execution on highly technical data center developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage client relationships
• Oversee project financial performance
• Prepare project forecasts and budgets
• Manage GMP and cost reimbursable contracts
• Lead procurement strategy
• Oversee subcontract management
• Manage change orders
• Drive risk management initiatives
• Coordinate engineering, purchasing and construction teams
• Lead project meetings
• Monitor project schedules
• Ensure safety and quality objectives are achieved
• Mentor Project Managers and Assistant PMs
• Support recruiting and team development
• Report project performance to executive leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years construction project management experience
• 5+ years managing hyperscale or colocation data centers
• Experience delivering projects valued between $25M-$100M+
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Experience with GMP delivery
• Excellent leadership and client-facing skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel nationally
